My three day old phone decided after sending a few message sotion that it would forget all of my contacts and display the message "selected memory empty"
so I changed the memory for phone to sim then to sim and phone and all of these had the same result.

Before anyone says anything I did not 'deleat all contacts'

I have tried syncing with the PC in Nokia PC Suite and adding contacts through this, after typing in the info, hitting save, and having a nice green tick tell me the save was successfull I still have an empy memory.
I'm a bit freaked out by this I'm pretty paranoid about viruses and dodgy msgs.

I'v got no Idea what to do.

ok so I turn it off I turn it on and low and behold all of my contacts and options are back.
That was nice and easy.

hello,, i have the same problem and i didnt manage to solve it,

my name list is empty and i cant even backup the names

how did u solve this issue please rebly asap.
