N97 locks up after USB connection

Hi all, anyone else having this problem?

 

Pretty much every time I connect my N97 to my laptop (through PC Suite or Mass Storage), the following happens. The phone's screen switches off as it should but the lock release button is unable to unlock the phone's keypad or bring the screen back.

 

There is no way to unlock the keypad or the phone and I have to take the battery out. I've had to do this many many times.

 

Is this just me?
